How long does balayage last?
Because there is no line to grow out, most guests go three to six months between full balayage visits. A Hair Contour or gloss between appointments keeps it fresh without a full service.
How long is the appointment?
Plan on a consultation in natural daylight followed by the service itself. Arrive with clean, product-free hair so we can read your true texture and condition before we begin.
Do you use foils?
No. Authentic French balayage is painted freehand, strand by strand. Nothing forces the lift, which is what lets the color fade softly instead of leaving a band at the root.
Is balayage damaging?
Painting by hand means we take only what a strand can afford. We do not use chemical smoothing treatments such as keratin, and we use and recommend Milbon Repair to strengthen and protect the hair after color.
